The Conservation Pathways Experience

Research Skills

Our students have opportunities to participate in established research projects or design a new project tailored to their interests and skills.

Professional Development

Honing science communication skills, building resumes and job applications, and learning to meet expectations are a few ways students develop needed experiences for their future.

Networking

With exposure to professionals and interns from governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies, our students build a network of future colleagues.

“The Intern Swap Days were always an adventure and so much fun! They especially helped all of the interns to become more aware of career opportunities, and potential avenues of research within their fields. That exposure is some of the most valuable experience I had, and I am glad I had the opportunity to make the connections I did.
